Digital planning is similar to paper planning as you get the paper to pen feel. Digital planners are interactive PDF files that can be used on annotating apps like Goodnotes 5, Notability, Xodo, Zoomnotes, Noteshelf, etc.
Everything is about preference. Some planners are landscape while others are portrait. Some people like rings on their planners while other like bookbound. Choose a planner that fits your design preference. We would love to help you choose one, but they all come with similar templates. It all comes down to which is your favorite design.

Although all our tutorial videos are made on iPads with the app Goodnotes 5, digital planning can be done across other devices. We recommend you to try the free journal with your device and app. We have heard of apps such as Xodo, Notability, Zoomnotes, Noteshelf, and CollaNote.
We recommend ANY iPad compatible with the apple pencil. If you are on a budget, there are great iPads out there that aren’t as expensive. When choosing an iPad we always recommend to get the one in your budget range.
You will be able to access your planner instantly after your payment goes through. You will have links to downloads, and you will receive a backup email as well.
You can use a MacBook as long as you’re able to download the app Goodnotes 5. We highly recommend using an iPad over a Macbook so you can get the writing feature.
You can print the planners, but you will be printing the planner as it is shown (with tabs). It is not recommended you use the planners as printables.
If you purchased an undated planner, you can use it year after year. Otherwise, you can purchase a new planner with a design each year around.

Goodnotes 5 works with our planners. Other apps work as well. However, all our tutorial videos are with Goodnotes 5. To see if our products work with your device/ app, download a free journal to test it out first. Go to www.createheartwork.com/freejournals.
Unfortunately, digital planning mirrors paper planning and they don’t sync with Google cal / iCal.
